The school Language in London  opened in 1989 in Camden Town. Over the years it has grown and developed and in 2006 became the first school in the world to win the British Council’s prize for innovation in English teaching. In 2007 the school moved to central London in a beautiful old building from 1776 with modern facilities and classrooms. It has been designed as a place where students love learning. 

From the first moment you arrive at the school you will feel at home. Both staff and teachers will help you at all times so that your experience in London is positive and you make progress with your language learning. 

General English is the standard course. You will be in a group with other students at the same level and the aim is to develop your speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. 

Conversation and Pronunciation is an extra class which will help you with all the speaking skills. Developing your pronunciation (sounds, intonation, stress) will help you to be better at speaking but it is also a very important way of improving your listening and comprehension of others. The course includes social conversation as well as discussions, presentations and debates. The school arranges a lot of different activities so that you can enjoy your free time with the staff and other students of the school. 

The school is  accredited by the British Council and is inspected regularly to check the teaching, facilities, accommodation and promotional materials. At the end of the course you get a certificate from the school. The accommodation is with English families or in a Residence with nice rooms with or without meals. 

The price per person for two weeks is:

 ·      900 pounds. It includes, insurance, 20 classes per week (General English), accommodation in a single room (Homestay) with breakfast. 

·       1000 pounds. It includes, insurance, 20 classes per week (General English+Cultural Experience), accommodation in a single room (Homestay) with breakfast. 

·       1100 pounds. It includes, insurance, 20 classes per week (Cultural Experience), accommodation in a single room (Homestay) with breakfast.
